About

Fair Play Art Fair is a new, curated, artist-first fair connecting outstanding independent artists with collectors, cultural audiences and a new generation of art buyers. Launching at One Marylebone from 15-18 October 2026, it brings together around 70 artists, selected on merit by an independent Selection Committee. The model removes upfront booth fees for exhibiting artists, creating a more accessible route into the art fair market while maintaining a clear curatorial standard.

Founded by Ryan Stanier, Fair Play draws on extensive experience of building artist-led fairs while responding to the way artists and audiences want to participate now. Artists retain a direct relationship with buyers, enabling discovery, conversation and sales outside the conventional gallery structure.

Fair Play places contemporary art within a wider cultural programme of live performance, music, artist-led events, food, drink and late-night programming. Across One Marylebone’s Soane Hall, Galleries, Vaults, Gardens and Greenhouses, the fair moves between exhibition, social space and live event, creating multiple ways to encounter artists and their work.

Taking place during Frieze Week, Fair Play is designed to become a new fixture in London’s cultural calendar and a platform for partnerships, collaborations and new ideas. It brings artists, audiences, brands and cultural organisations together around a shared interest in independent talent, cultural discovery and the future of the art fair.
