Photography and filming take place at Fair Play Art Fair.
In taking, publishing and retaining photographs and video footage, Fair Play Art Fair is exercising its right to freedom of expression and the public's right to receive information, and is creating and maintaining a historical record of the fair. This footage also holds promotional value for an indefinite period. Together, these constitute our legitimate interests for processing.
How images and footage are used
Images and video captured at Fair Play Art Fair events may be published across the company's promotional channels, including our website, social media, printed materials and advertising.
Always positive
The images we select for publication or sharing will positively reflect our visitors' attendance at Fair Play Art Fair. Usage will always come from a perspective of education and celebration.
Notifying visitors
All events display signage at the entrance advising visitors that photography and filming will be taking place, and directing them to this policy for further information.
Your right to object
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), individuals have the right to object to their images being processed. Because Fair Play Art Fair takes place in a public setting, it is not always possible for individuals to opt in or out of being photographed or filmed at an event.
Where someone does object, Fair Play Art Fair will make all reasonable efforts to avoid photographing that individual, and any identified images will be deleted on request at the earliest opportunity — unless there is a reason the image must be retained under data protection or other laws or duties.
