Barbara Kuebel
Based in Austria, Barbara Kuebel spent many years working as an artist and educator in Europe and the Americas. Focusing on manual printing techniques, her large-scale woodcuts stretch into areas of sculpturing. She holds two Mag.art degrees from Academy of Fine Arts Vienna.
Her practice of woodblock printing is informed by culturally obvious material use such as wood in the alpine regions of Austria. Her work has been part of private collections and interior concepts.
