Daisy Billowes
Daisy Billowes is a Manx-based artist raised in Athens and the UK. She undertook a BA in Fine Art at Newcastle University (2015) and an MA in Print at the Royal College of Art (2017). Her practice explores the retelling of female narratives in mythology through negotiations with the landscapes in which they exist. Her work was selected for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition (2026), shortlisted for the Well Hung Painting Prize (2026) and included on the extended longlist for the Jackson's Art Prize (2026).
Recent exhibitions include Scrumping Apples at Small Works (2026), the Well Hung Painting Prize show (2026), and Dolce Far Niente, curated by Vittoria Beltrame for myma (2025). Her solo exhibition four disproportionately sized chambers was shown at The Stone Space, London (2020). She has completed a body of work funded by the Manx Arts Council exploring local folklore and undertaken residencies with Studio Umami (2024) and Radical Residency VII at Unit 1 Gallery Workshop, London (2022).
