Selected Artist: London 2026
Delphine Lebourgeois
Delphine Lebourgeois is a London-based French artist working primarily with drawing. She studied Fine Art in Ecole des Beaux Arts de Lyon and completed her Masters at Central Saint Martins in 2005. Her work has been exhibited internationally including at the Saatchi Gallery, the Royal Academy of Art and the Caroussel du Louvre. Her practice explores through precise scenarios the realms of human psychology, power dynamics and female identity. Working across drawing and printmaking, she creates layered visual narratives rooted in intuition and symbolism, where female characters take centre stage.
She believes drawing is an essential medium today, one that carries human sensitivity and acts as a revealer of the unconscious in the face of the visual immediacy of our digital age. Her images have been featured in The Guardian, Vogue, Colossal, Time Out, Stylist, EA Games and Soho House amongst others.
