Helena Park

Helena Park is a London-based artist painting solely with acrylic. Helena’s recent series of paintings embrace fundamental pictorial elements like line, shape, and colour to evoke a particular emotional register or narrative within each painting. She has developed a mode of paint handling that involves painting in thin, almost watercolour like washes to create layered transparencies which bring depth and a play of subtle light effects to the canvas.

In June Helena completed her studies at The Essential School of Painting in North London on their Advanced Painting programme. Since her studies, she now works from her new painting studio in North London.
