Selected Artist: London 2026

Laetitzia Campbell

Laetitzia Campbell (b. 1996) is a British-French artist of Jamaican heritage based in London. Campbell’s practice centres on what she describes as “second-hand memories”: stories, objects and gestures inherited across generations that continue to shape emotional experience despite their distance from their origins. Through the slow accumulation of stitched marks and loose threads, her works move between figuration and abstraction, reflecting on nostalgia, memory and the passage of time.
After relocating from Paris to London in 2024, Campbell quickly established herself within the British art scene. She presented her first solo exhibition, On Your Way Home, at Ed Cross Fine Art in 2025. In 2026, her work was included in London Art Fair’s prestigious Platform section, curated by Dr Ferren Gipson, and she presented a solo exhibition at David Parr House, Cambridge, alongside group exhibitions at Paul Smith Space, London, and Andelli Art Gallery, Somerset.
