Selected Artist: London 2026

Neal Camilleri

Neal Camilleri (b. 1999, Malta) lives and works in London. He graduated from Central Saint Martins with a BA in Ceramic Design in 2024. His work has been exhibited in the UK and internationally, alongside a growing body of private commissions, collaborations and gallery presentations. Working primarily across sculpture and ceramics, Camilleri’s practice explores memory, belonging and our emotional relationship with objects and place. Drawing from his childhood in Malta, he revisits fragments of domestic interiors, architectural details, landscapes and familiar objects, reshaping them through colour, material and playful distortion.
Often sitting between the functional and fantastical, his sculptures transform personal memories into unfamiliar forms while retaining traces of their original references. Through ceramics, wood, glass and other materials, Camilleri’s practice reflects on how objects become carriers of memory and how the places and experiences we leave behind continue to shape our understanding of home.
