Sasha Bowles
Sasha Bowles MRSS is a multidisciplinary artist based in London, with an MA from Wimbledon College of Art (2013). Working across painting, photography, installation, film, sculpture and performance, her practice explores perception, identity, memory and the theatricality of everyday life. Recent solo exhibitions include Operatics (Holland Park, 2025), Watching Me, Watching You (Colony Room, London, 2024), Classical Expositions (Gainsborough Hotel), Taking Liberties With the Masters (Exhibitionist Hotel, London, 2023), and Ramsgate Belles (Laurent Delaye Gallery, 2022).
Her work has been exhibited at Nottingham Castle Museum, the Royal Academy, Standpoint Gallery, Creekside Open, and Discerning Eye, among others. She has undertaken residencies including Radical Residency VIII, The Jersey Project and Take Courage, and received awards including the Gilbert Bayes and Benton Prizes. Recent performance work includes If You Like Piña Coladas (2024–26) and Hot Gods (2026). Her work is held in public and private collections in Britain, Europe and America.
