Tobias Ross-Southall

Tobias Ross-Southall is an award-winning British artist, filmmaker, photographer and curator from London. His latest paintings and prints, inspired by a residency in Puebla, Mexico, feature dynamic minimalist forms, expressive brushwork and monochromatic bleeding on raw canvas. Blending figurative shapes with abstract, ethereal qualities, Ross-Southall also utilises traditional etching and monotype techniques. His work explores mortality, melancholy, love and the impact of artificial intelligence on humanity's future.
A graduate of Central Saint Martins, London and the Pratt Institute, New York, Ross-Southall curated the global exhibition series POST HUMAN now spanning Mexico City, Los Angeles, New York and London. He additionally participated in group shows in Japan at Tokyo’s Warehouse Terrada in both 2024 and 2026. His work has been featured in Forbes, The Guardian, Vogue and Financial Times, amongst others.
