This series returns to the oval as a recurring form, but removes facial expression in favour of material and process. The works rely more heavily on the act of printing itself, allowing variations in texture, pressure and surface to become the focus. Repetition creates rhythm, while subtle differences between each impression give the forms a quiet individuality.
